leave them. you don’t have to match the wedding party; you’re the bride. gorgeous dress, btw!

I do think your dress should match the wedding colours, particularly the bridal party… But your dress is neutral enough to match your colour scheme

I love your gown, but I have to agree with your mom. You might be able to make it work, but tey are not really in the same color pallette as your gown.

hmmm… I have to agree with your mom. It has more to do with the “tone” – this dress is gorgeous, but very ballroom – meets Oscars – formal, and cotton candy pink screams casual or beach to me. I don’t think you necessarily have to match colors (although I think the taupe in your dress would be GORGEOUS to match some aspect of your girls) but you need to match formality.

I agree with your mom and futuremrscrawford. This dress (beautiful, btw) is very warm-toned and formal. The pink/navy is much cooler and seems less formal. I would pick either the pink or the navy and use the taupe as an accent.

i am always surprised when i see people who have concerns about their dress matching a certain color, because hello the dress is WHITE! or off white, ivory, in other words: neutral. and that matches everything! however the formality is a good point. most people have an association with navy and pink to be nautical and beachy which seems casual, but it all depends on how you apply the colors. it doesn’t have to be that way. i think the idea in the poll to add gold is perfect. it will bring up the formal level without you having to do a total overhaul on your current ideas.

I think the navy would be fabulous (think navy and khaki (a gold/ivory tone) – they always look great together). I kind of feel like the pink won’t work though. Maybe have navy and gold as your colors? I think that would be very classy and go well with your dress.

I think if you used a deeper tone of pink instead of cotton candy, it would be fine! Maybe something closer to raspberry or burgandy?
Edit: If you love cotton candy pink, stick with it! It’s your wedding and no one is going to judge your dress compared to your colors. Especially since it’s a June wedding.

I think you colors would look great with that gown. I could see if you got a colored dress, like red or blue, but champagne goes in my opinion.
