@mrsSonthebeach:  freedom of speech does not come free from comments about that speech.

I have never understood why that was such a hard concept to understand!  Freedom is speech is about government regulation.  Someone calling you an asshole after you say something doesn’t violate your freedom of speech. 

If the OP’s status was about sending them to jail for asking those questions about politicians, then maybe we can bring free speech into it.
