Here’s a picture of it on a couple of other brides. I think it would really fit my beach wedding! Opinions?

I was just looking at this dress pinterest. I think it’s beautiful! And it looks like the fabric would be lightweight enough to walk in the sand
It’s lovely! Buying it without trying would be a gamble, especially as it has long sleeves and all. You’d have to be prepared and have a plan for if it didn’t work. Have a look for something similar?
Stunning! But also potentially quite hard to alter, especially the top with all the beading.
If you have your heart set on the dress, I would consider travelling to wherever it is to try it on. At the very least, I would recommend trying on similar styles in boutiques before committing to this one as styles look so different once they are on.
If you can try on similar styles it would still give you an idea of the general silhouette. I will say though have you tried on dresses with long sleeves before? I personally found them to be quite uncomfortable/hot. My dress originally came with long sleeves too but I had it changed to cap sleeves instead. Just something to consider especially for a beach wedding!
It’s a lovely dress but i prob wouldn’t buy it if you can’t try it on. I’ve notice that lace often looks really pretty in photos but when you see it in person the quality does not always match up with the photos. Lace fabric is something i wouldn’t buy online.
I don’t think I would be comfortable buying without the option of return. You never know how it will look. I’d try to travel to try it on maybe? If you can’t, try on a ton of dressed that are really similar to it to see what you think (try on the same silhouette, fabric, sleeve length, etc.)
I am definitely highly opposed to buying a dress that you have not tried on. So many brides fall in love with a dress online or in a magazine but forget that they are looking at the dress on a model or women with a different height and body type. No matter how pretty a dress is, it just may not look right with your figure and that’s OK. We’re all different. It would not be great for you to buy this once in a lifetime dress to only realize it doesn’t flatter your figure at all.
Oooooh. It’s really pretty. It would fit awesome with a beach wedding but it’s a gamble if you can’t try it on
can you try on something similar? Like something with lace sleeves to make sure you like that look?
It’s pretty but I wouldn’t buy it due to no returns. I would try on a similar dress. A lot of things I think I would like I end up hating.
I tried on a dress that I thought would be perfect for me, and it looked awful. It was everything I loved, and it just didn’t work. I’d be so hesitant to buy a dress I couldn’t try on or return.
I’m not sure where you’re located, but the Lovely Bride chain sells this gown. They have several locations along the east coast and a few scattered elsewhere. I would definitely call first to see if they have a sample; if not, they may be able to ship a sample to the store closest to you.
Saks also has the dress available online in navy in VERY limited sizes, but if you’re just trying to get a feel for the fit, it could be a good option since they accept returns: http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446938382&R=710780958742&P_name=Basix+Black+Label&Ntt=basix+black+label&N=0&bmUID=lpa6V94′ defer=’defer
Good luck!
