For some reason these flowers are just throwing me for a loop. I’m not even doing anything that difficult and I feel really indecisive about these so I really need some help! I’m doing about 4 to 5 milk glass bud vases on each table, and then I will have some mason jars and votives too around them. Some of these will contain candles and some will have an open bloom or some small buds. The theme is vintage, rustic, shabby chic, and homespun. I don’t have a solid color scheme, but I am using muted tones of pink purples and blues. I plan to dye some of the mason jars blue on my tables, so i beleive the blue will be represented here, and I have a little blue throughout. I only want to do about 1-3 flowers in each bud vase. I was going to make 5 bridesmaid bouquets, and 2 altar arrangements out of coffee filters, and then a few more blooms for around the reception here and there. If I order more flowers, I can save myself some work crafting the coffee filter flowers, but I can also save some cash if I create them. I need help deciding which colors look right together. I have the freedom to create the colors I want for my maids and the altar arrangements if i do the coffee filter flowers, whereas if I order them I am set in only 1 or 2 colors, and I kinda want my maids to have a variety. I’m just all over the place with these flowers, and I apologize for this ranmbling. Can anyone give me some opinions on flowers looking good together here… please… i’m so frustrated!
Thanks! I’ve already ordered these flowers but can change my order. These were for my tables only:
These flowers were the ones i was looking to add, and change from the mini lavendar carnations, pink carnations, and pink spray roses from above.
Now my gut tells me the lighter carnations don’t match, and I feel like the purple ones are too dark, but perhaps if I use only a few it will look ok? Then I really like most of the bi color roses, but the bright orange ones might not be what i’m looking for, but I could maybe stick a few in the altar arrangements.
I think my problem is I dont know how many blooms I really need, and I’m torn between making coffee filter flowers (I can customize them which is a good thing) or spending more money and being boxed into using a specific color, but saving myslef work!
Argh please help me bees, i’m exhausted!
