This thread makes me feel good about my decisions….

I said NO to:

Save the Dates

Engagement Photo Session

Post-ceremony photo shoot with every single member of my huge family (just a short B&G session and then a big ol group shot – then party time!)

Photo Booth

Awkward “feed each other” Cake Cutting Moment

Cake alltogether – we’re serving tiny pies

First Dance

Out of Town bags

Wedding Band – I like my vintage e-ring just as it is

***The biggest and best no:  No Soliciting People’s Opinions! No one can judge your invites, menu, dress, or honeymoon spot if you don’t share the details with them. This one feels sooooooooo good! *****

No readings

No balloons

No “Wedding March”

No to his church

No cupcakes

HUGE no to inviting his ex

No to having one of the groomsmen “express his speech through the form of dance”

No to swords and/or Musketeer costumes (the guys just don’t quit with their ideas they know I’d hate)

I said no to:

Limo, live band, totally matching BM’s, non-useful favors, smashing cake in face, chair covers, cheap looking arch or cheesy decor, pickups, ball gowns, buffet, over the top bling, fake flowers, too formal looking invites, kids.
