I have been out dress shopping mulitiple times. My issue is that I love almost everything that I put on. At first I thought I wanted a ballroom gown, big and puffy like a princess. The first couple of times I went out tried on only those. Then one day I went by myself and tried on a Maggie . . . that was mermaid style. What had I been thinking with the ballroom gown? This style was much more me! I didn’t look like a giant cupcake!
I decided to schedule another appointment with David’s Bridal because prices were much more reasonable. . . plus there was a dress I had in mind.
Wouldn’t you know that the dress I had in mind was the first one my consultant brought for me to try on. It was GORGEOUS!!
(Ignore my awful hair and make up in these pictures please!!)
She brought another one out . . . I didn’t even take a picture of it because it didn’t wow me.
Then finally . . . she brought the one I fell in love with. (Pictures do it no justice trust me).
Here is the back . . . we didn’t lace it in every loop until later. LOVE the corset back
All laced up and added a beautiful veil (which I had been opposed to at first. . . but sitting lower with my hair done in an upstyle or half way with curls . . . I think it will look lovely.
AND FINALLY . . .
YAYYYY!!! That’s my dress! MY dress! Again . . . my cell phone pictures do it no justice. Lace and Ivory color . . . very southern belle without the poof and totally me. Fits with my vision of our wedding and I am so excited!
