This past weekend, I was lucky enough to set up an appointment with Randy from “Say Yes to the Dress” and I found my gown:)
It’s so weird because I probably would have never even tried this dress on if I relied on the picture or the model wearing it.
I got the Enzoani Dabra. Before I went, I envisioned lace, romantic, trumpet-stlye, a vintage-feel..WELL, it has lace and is romantic, but more of a dropped waist rather than a trumpet sillouhette. I am only 5’1″ so I feel like the ones I tried on made me feel even shorter..Who knows!
It’s an outdoor wedding and reception, so I am kind of wanting to get rid of the train. It’s going to have to be hemmed and bustled anyways, so I am thinking of killing two birds with one stone. Would this look bad??
I also was a deeper sweetheart neckline and a more plunged back “v”..I called several places to get an idea for alterations and was suprised that it wasn’t going to be super expensive for all of this.
Anyways, here I am:)

Thanks everyone! I am excited, but I am very indecisive and impulsive, so I am freaking out that in a few months I will change my mind or something!! I added a poll too for alterations:) I love the dress and I really want a deeper sweetheart neckline and plunged back..Also, it’s outdoors so I am unsure about the train?? Ideas?! Vote:)

@Amsy28: Aww I <3 Randy!
If your wedding is outside then I agree, cut the train if it doesn’t bustle because it will look dirty as you walk around all day/night.
Hard to tell about the other alterations from those pics, but the dress is fabulous.

Get rid of the train if you want to do it. This was my dress and it’s not so light. Plus I was worried about it dragging ripping, there are a lot of pictures of me yanking this thing up to my waist. I think it looks great on you and it’s a beautiful dress! I should also add, alterations are not easy or this dress. There is a ridiculous amount of boning. I know it costed me extra because of the lace.
