these are all mori lee gowns!! I’m a mori lee blu bride so I constantly stalk their site! I think its normal to worry a bit about your dress choice. I always start having doubts about my dress after I havent seen it for a while, but everytime I try it on, it justs takes my breath away!

I’m still freaked out, but I just can’t wait to see it in my size. I am freaking because the sample was 10 sizes bigger than my size.
Your dress is beautiful!! I think what you perceive to be “plain” is actually really simple elegance! There’s enough going on at the top/middle that if there was anything on the bottom, it might seem too busy. I love your dress! You should too! 🙂

Thank you for that! I agree simple can be elegant. I personally think the first one is very elegant and there isn’t an ounce of beading but on me it just seemed too
plain. I hope I can get over the skirt because it really bothers me at least in this model pic.
@bells: YES they are all Mori Lee- I’ve lived on her sit and maybe that’s the problem, I’ve found ones on there that to me fit the bill but I couldn’t find shops in my area that carried them. I’m one of those I wish I could take the top of this one and the bottom of that one 🙂

It’s a big commitment so it’s natural to feel anxiety once you make a final choice. But you know when it’s right, and you can’t worry about it. Your dress is gorgeous, and I am sure it is even more amazing ON YOU!

Okay here is some CRAPPY pics, I had to darken the heck out of them because the white got washed out in the flash. You get the jist of how it fits just don’t look at my nasty arms and keep in mind this dress was waaay too small for me. The one thing I noticed is I think one of the pick ups came detached in the sample because it sure doesn’t lay that way in the model pic.
My favorite part is the bust and bodice.

Looks great! I like that the pleats aren’t as stiff on the sample as it is on the model. 🙂 That neckline is very flattering.

The dress looks wonderful! It’s much more special than the other two. Don’t freak out.

I really like the dress you picked. It does look like it could use a crinoline, which could give it the volume you are looking for. There is also a possibility that they could loosen up the pick ups a little–it just depends on how the dress is constructed.
If there is a dress or two on the website that you REALLY want to try, ask the salon if they can borrow the manufacturer’s sample. They will probably charge you some money for this, but most of it should be able to be applied towards your dress purchase.
I don’t know how long ago you ordered your dress, but if it was in the last couple days, you can probably get the bridal shop to put a hold on it, if you want to try the borrowing route.

That first dress is georgous and I have not seen any other bee with it, go for the first one!!!

I seriously think that dress looks AMAZING on you! You did great!!!

The dress looks great on you! I am trying to decide between two Mori Lees (I bought both…oops) and both my mom and grandma are wearing Mori Lee dresses too. It is a shame that their photography doesn’t look nearly as good as ANY of their dresses that I ‘ve tried on. I think once you try it on again you will love it just as much.

OMG please don’t tell me this, I’ve already ordered mine!!! I tried on the first one at a different salon and I really liked it but couldn’t get over how plain it was. I kind of felt that the one I did pick was a combination of some of my top pics. I agree the top one is gorgeous but I think it was just too simple for me.
THank you!! I do love the neckline as well and I agree the pick ups are pretty stiff looking in the model pick
LOL, thank you I’m trying! I wish I felt it was more special than the others but I’m starting to feel like it was the right one to choose because of the fit, etc..
The dress actually had a crinoline under it. I’m stupid when it comes to this but does that mean it will come with the dress or would I need to get one. Is it possible that being a sample it isn’t holding the body like it should? I too would love the skirt to flare out more like in the first pic. I just ordered it on Thursday, you have 3 days to change your mind which I guess is why I’m feeling a ton of pressure right now. It’s now or never ya know?
Thank you, I sure hope I’ve made the right decision here. I’d love to quit doubting myself!!!

Well I just did something to put my mind at ease for a bit. I called the bridal salon and asked them to put my order on hold. I have to be SURE that this is the right one. I looked at Mori Lee’s site again to see what really grabbed my interest to see if it would be similar to what I ordered and I can’t help but like this one: Unfortunately the salon doesn’t have it and I think it was one I searched other salons for already. I asked if they can borrow samples from designers and they can not. My mom put the deposit down already which they do not refund so if I find a dress elsewhere it has to be one I can order through the store my deposit is at. UGGH.
