Justin Alexander 8557!
Justin Alexander sizes start at 4 – so I’m a 10. I’m 5’2″ and 125 lbs. Eeee! I’m planning to lose a few pounds before the big day but the seamstress said she could take in this dress as far as four sizes if need be because it’s a ballgown. This was BY FAR the most flattering dress I tried on, even if the pictures don’t show it. Everyone loved it and it made my waist look miniscule.
Even the petite was too long for me, unless I was willing to wear 4″ heels the entire day and that’s fifty shades of not going to happen ever. So we ordered the regular length because it costs the same price to hem no matter how much they take off, and I’d rather keep more extra fabric – I can wrap it around my bouquet or make some sort of Christmas ornament or something. Lastly, we are also getting the eyelash lace trimmed from the top because it kind of looks unfinished to me. You can’t see this part in pictures.
ACCESSORIES: I will be wearing a graduated strand of pearls and I am having a pearl & rhinestone sash sewn on over the belt. The sash in the fourth picture is more of the TYPE of sash (just on the small side), but the sash in the third picture is a better indication of width. It’s just a little too metallic for my taste. I think I will be custom ordering one from an Etsy seller.
VEIL: I’m wearing a medium length two-tier veil with lace trim that I haven’t exactly found yet … lol. I’m hoping to find one with a smaller band of lace than the one pictured so it doesn’t clash with my lace so much.
