blondeambition0302 : Looks great on you, good choice! I went shopping at a store specifically because they had a trunk show for the designer of a couple dresses I’d been eyeballing. I had 3 I called about, so those were already in my room to try on. I picked a few others to try on as well, and saved my original 3 for the end so that I didn’t make my decision before trying other ones on. I still ended up choosing my top pick!

My mom bought the first dress she tried on, and I’m carrying on the “tradition”! We tried several dresses on then came back the next week to purchase. Two of my bridesmaids and I went to an outlet store to try on just for fun, but nothing quite compared to that first dress, both style-wise and price-wise!
I went with an Alfred Angelo dress from the Sapphire collection: Style 8108L. It’s a bridesmaid dress, but there’s a train and just the right mix of simple, sophistication, and sparkle! Not quite what I’d planned on, but lace is so expensive.
Here you can see a bit of the back in the mirror.
And we tried it with the veil and shoes, too! My friend’s veil adds just the right touch of sparkle. 🙂 I forgot the slip that day so it’s a bit straighter, but it’s unbustled so you can see the train. Ah! I’m in love! 🙂
