So this morning, driving to work while it rains, I spot out of my left eye something on the window. When I look, it s a little nat and I roll down the window to let it out. Then I think to myself, “Wow, I thought that was a spider. I hate spiders.”
**A few weeks ago a spider crawled across my windshied and I proceeded to pull over on the side of the road & make Fiance come kill it.**
Anyways, about two minutes later a H U G E brown recluse crawls across my damn windshield on the inside!!!!!!!!! I froze, and definately went into the other lane. I was tempted to pull over but it was raining like crazy, so I didn’t. But took my shoe off and killed it and threw my shoe in the passenger floor board.
When I got to work I couldn’t find the body of the spider. KILL ME NOW 🙁 I’m really dreading leaving work now…

OMG OMG OMG BROWN RECLUSE MY WORST NIGHTMARE.
I actually love spiders, except those. They absolutely terrify me because I’ve seen incredibly graphic photos of the results of their bites. Normal spiders I think are generally kind of cute, though I’d rather they stay out of my bedroom/bathroom, I try to put them outside rather than kill them.
My parents sometimes just let them stay because they have a bad bug problem (super old house in the woods) and a few unobtrusive spiders in window corners actually make a difference for the better.

Can you consider moving somewhere colder?
Yes, it is cold and snowy here in Cleveland but that means, almost no spiders! I have seen maybe one big spider in my house in 3 years. A few baby ones, but they don’t bother me much.
I did stop sitting on the couch for nearly 6 months when I saw that big spider there, LOL so I hate them too.

OMG I would love to move someone where colder, I’m begging Fiance we move to colorado haha. I almost passed out I think. I think the tiny tiny ones are kind of cute, but this thing was absolutely disgusting and was like the size of a half dollar. NO THANK YOUUUUU lol Glad i’m not the only one. My mom thinks I’m crazy for being so afraid. 🙁

I feel your pain. I’m convinced that no amount of therapy or hypnosis can help me conquer my fear of spiders (I can’t even kill the itty bitty ones by myself- S.O gets quite a kick out of it. Then kills it when he realizes how serious I am.)
The two of us want to move to the Southern U.S states because I have really bad fibromyalgia and cold Canadian weather really aggravates my symptoms, but the main thing holding me back is knowing that warmer climates= more spiders year-round. Just thinking about it gives me the shudders.

I hate spiders!!! Actually all insects but especially spiders! If I see one in the car & i freeze, my car stalls (it’s stick) a complete stranger usually gets it for me if I’m alone. If I’m at home I can’t sleep until Fiance come home and kills it. Believe when I say I feel your pain…

Spiders in cars are terrible! Once my fiancé was driving, I was in the passenger seat, and I see a spider out of the corner of my eye right next to me. Once I realized it was inside, I tried to get away from it, and accidentally switched the car into neutral, hah! Also, I was bit by a brown recluse when I was younger and have a terrible phobia and a scar on my arm as a reminder. So you’re not alone!
