Haha me too. I can’t wait to help my brother or one of my male friends find a diamond- I need to put all this knowledge to good use!

@ScenicRoute:  I was *thiiis* close to working at Kay Jewelers a few years ago. But I hated their sales policy :/ so I didn’t take the offer

I don’t even know the 4 Cs. Or is it 3? Terrible!

@ScenicRoute:  Me too… except for the fact I am not great at science and if someone asked me to cut a diamond I’d be a) too freakin scared and b) I have a horrible time visualizing stuff in 3D so it would end up being a disaster lol.

ETA: I suppose I wouldn’t necessarily have to cut diamonds, but I am not sure it would be as easy as looking at pretty things all day haha

I hear you! I know so much about diamonds now from researching them it’s crazy. I also know a lot about moissy, but I’m definitely lacking on my other gem skills.

@ScenicRoute:  They wanted me to sell each customer about 4 or 5 different warranties and care plans in addition to whatever piece they were buying. I could see trying to sell 1 warranty, but they wanted EVERY CUSTOMER to purchase MULTIPLE care plans with EACH ITEM they were buying, which seemed ridiculous to me.

@ScenicRoute:  No Kidding!  But I think I would forever be wanting to “upgrade”.  They are all so pretty and all too tempting 🙂
