Just take a deep breath and relax.  You will get it all done!  A year is plenty of time to plan.  The way I organize myself is through lists and spreadsheets.  I got the big things out of the way first (venue, dress, photographer, etc.).  I spent a couple weeks figuring out exactly what I want as far a decor, song choice, and all the other little details.  Then, I made to-do lists.  I used Excel and wrote down everything I needed to do and buy and just mark it off and put in how much it cost as I go (to keep track of budget).  It is a really overwhelming at first but it ends up making your life so much easier in the end!

Good luck!

take some time to breathe…you have plenty of time! i planned and executed my wedding in just over 5 months.

Getting the venue booked is huge! i really felt like things started to feel more real when we finally booked our venue, i was able to envision the space more which makes it easier to complete little projects here and there. Make a list and work your way down.

these little timelines can be helpful – but overwhelming at the same time, you dont have to do all of any of it- but its a good place to start as far as where you should be in planning.
