and I am SO disoriented. I feel so strange. lol Very disconnected.
i went to bed at 11:00pm with an ambien, so I got nice uninterrupted sleep. Then I woke up at 8:30am thinking I would be good to go. I feel asleep again at 9:30 and then woke back up at 2:30pm.
Um… I’m guessing I needed it? lol
How am I ever going to get to sleep tonight? lol

LOL! I hear you. I slept 10 or 11 hours last night without the help of sleeping aids, I was just pooped from 2 solid days of gardening! I’ve felt off kilter all day today! I have to be up at 6am tomorrow (a serious rarity for me) and I’m very sure that is not going to go well for me!

@bakerella: I hear you. I am NOT a morning person, but I want to be. I was all excited to be up at 8:30, can’t remember the last time that happened. Then Zzzzz.
Gardening is hard work. I’m not surprised you were tired.
Good luck with the 6:00 am get up time. That’s my goal for tomorrow….or someday. 🙂

I know how this feels! I work nights and sometimes on Fridays I’ll only get an hour or two of sleep so I don’t waste the day or I won’t sleep at all. I always end up falling asleep by 10 at the latest Friday nights. I wake up around 9am on Saturdays all excited to start the day and the next thing I know it’ll be 1 in the afternoon and I’ll realize I fell asleep again.

Haha I did this the day after I graduated from college b/c I had been up literally for days straight finishing projects, etc.
Isn’t that the weirdest feeling? The extra sleep almost makes you more tired than usual- lol.

So ironic…last night I fell asleep at 10:30 and work up at 9:30…so 11 hours! And then I took a “oops” nap at 1:30 for three hours! Lucky for me, I work 2nd shift tomorrow…sleeping in again! :]

Yeah. I’m useless today. lol
I was supposed to cook e-chicken and quinoa for dinner….uh… sweetie can make himself a pb&j. lol
Funny thing is it IS college doing this to me.
This is me today.
@mandb122: That sounds stressful!

Soooooo jealous. I may or may not have fallen asleep at work today.

@UpstateCait: Hahaha. What kind of naps do you take? The secret ones where you find someplace no one can find you to doze?
Or the I’m totally awake but I’m not. I’m just resting my eyes. Or the I’m not sleeping I’m just reading VERY intently. Used to do this in church all the time. You put your head in your hand and look down…maybe let your long hair cover your face a bit. Every so often turn a page.

OMG, I would be SO excited to sleep for that long!!! I haven’t been going to bed early enough… because I can’t sleep when I get to bed, so I may as well stay up, no?!
But when the alarm goes off, I ignore the crap out of it.
Last night I think I finally went to sleep around 3:15. This morning I opened my eyes and it was 8:04. I’m supposed to be at work by 8:30.
Thankfully I live a half mile away, and I took the world’s most ridiculous fast shower and was sitting at my desk at 8:31.
This past weekend I slept until 1:30 pm, after going to bed after 3 again. Fiance was all happy I slept in… I was annoyed he let me sleep that much because I had so much to do 🙂
Day 1 of honeymoon is going to = mega sleeping in 🙂

Please be careful with Ambien. I know it doesn’t do this to everyone but after taking it made me sleep walk. I was living with my son and his wife at the time. I had breast reconstruction surgery 4 days earlier. I got up about 2am, went upstairs to the kitchen (the LR, kitchen was on the 2nd floor) and cut an apple, started cooking pasta, let the dogs out of their kennel (they loved this!!!) . I must have changed my mind and started walking downstairs to my room because the next thing they heard was “Thump, thump, thump…BOOM!!!” I was face down on the tile floor by the front door. They helped me up and got me back to bed. The next day I was super sore and after checking under my bandages I saw that the stitches busted open and we made a trip th the ER. After being examined I was told I had broken 2 ribs, partially deflated a lung and lucky that people were there to help me. I know this is long but I tell all people this story when I hear they have taken Ambien. Please be careful!!!!

@Ill Be Mrs B: Ah! I’m sorry this happened! I agree ambien is pretty scary. I have my boyfriend watch over me because I’ve read of a lot of people do crazzzzzzy stuff while “sleeping”. My aunt put her boots on and went for a walk in the Alaskan winter at midnight. 🙂 Good thing shes ok.
Personally, I just get really chatty and talk about spirits, souls, and monsters in the fan. lol
Oh and I ambien emailed my boyfriend’s sister inviting her to the gem show on my birthday. That was a funny email.
Then, I remember nothing the next day exept for vague little snippits.
Thank you for the concern though!
