Not usually the next day, but whenever we have Indian food (which is alot) I can smell the spices through my skin for at least a few hours!

I doubt its your clothes that smell like your food.  Its probably your sweat. Meat tends to make people smell funky.  Your probably the only one who notices it!

Make sure you turn the little fan on when you’re cooking, and leave it on for a while after

My sister owns a resturant and she has one jacket that she only wears to work cause it stinks like the food she cooks.

@Mrs.Mittens:  This sounds disgusting but whenever I eat deer, I smell really woody/deery the next day too.

Do you ever notice you get a smell when taking certain drugs, too?  When i take my ADHD pills, I sometimes get a bad smell too.

You can sometimes identify a person’s culture by the smell they give off. People of an oriental culture smell a certain way because of diet. People of Arabic culture smell another way again because of diet. I’m told by members of those cultures that American’s have a distinct smell….probably because of diet.

So whatever you do….don’t eat “farty” foods… beans, cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts. before a meeting an important person!

This reminds me of a funny similar story.  A few years ago an employee of mine showed up for work looking very rumpled and wrinkled, wearing the same clothes from the day before and reeking to high heaven of alcohol and BO, ugh.  (He’d pulled an all-nighter with some friends, this was a college kid). I needed his help with an errand, and while we were at the store I saw a bottle of Febreeze on the aisle, and sprayed him down with it, lol.
