So – yey!!! Sorted my flowers! I met with the florist the other day. It was quite a mean feat, speaking in three different languages to get the ideas across, but we managed it. SO here’s what I’m having:
There are six columns in the church which will have a boquet of Gypsophilia in mauve hanging upside down on them with two-three antique coloured roses at the base with antique lace ribbon holding them together.
Also outside the church there will be two baskets similar to the ones in the photo below, but much larger (wide like a ceg) filled with gypsophilia with antique-coloured roses
My boquet will be a take on the flower in the basket, although I will not have the berry-like flowers, but flowering mint and sweetpeas, as well as ranunculus and possibly posies, depending on the cost of them. They will be tied together with antique ribbon and decorated with pearl wiring. Inside the church we will have 2 large bay trees which will have 4-5 gypsophilia wreaths hanging off with roses at where the ribbon meets the wreaths.
All these will be transfered then to the reception and decorate there, with some extras on the tables. Pics aren’t great here, but I tell you when you see them they are fantastic!
