I purchased these in Ivory for my Oct 2013 wedding. They are the MOST comfy shoes I have ever owned in my life. I did not think about my feet on my wedding day. Not once.
I am going to an event on Jan 25 and purchased this royal blue dress. I pick it up tomorrow since I am getting it hemmed. It looks better in person, I swear. These pics are not good, they’re blurry and the lighting was really bad.
Anyway I decided to go with gold statement earrings and gold shoes and purse. What do you think of the shoes? I don’t know how they’ll feel from the spray paint, meaning I am not sure if they will get stiff now? They are super flexible before all of this so let’s see. Do you like this idea or is it a terrible one? I also purchased the clear sealant spray to put on top of this to avoid fabric transfer.
and then I have these earrings….what do you think?

I think it really depends on the material of the shoes combined with the formula of paint you choose. I spray painted a pair of leather heels red/gittery once. They looked fine for about a day, but the paint did end up creasing around the area around the toe where the shoe bends a little bit as you walk.

Since you already did it, I guess we just have to wait and see?
Keep us posted about the crunchy-ness of your shoes! 🙂

@hegetsme: I’d go with a paint specifically meant for fabric rather than spray paint 🙂 Then you could stipple it on and have more control over it 🙂
ETA: Whoops! NVM, you already did it 🙂 good luck!

@hegetsme: well they look great! hopefully the paint will work out!
side note…where did you get those shoes? They’re super cute and look like a kitten heel. I’m looking for comfortable flats or a kitten heel for my wedding (don’t want to be taller than FI!). …unless they’re normal heels and the angle makes them look short lol

I like both, but as a proponent of comfy shoes at all times, I must ask . . . what type of shoes do you have that are so cute AND comfy? I need them, or I may get married in my sneakers or flip-flops (or maybe even my hippy dippy rope sandals, lol).

I would definitely have to search on where I got them. I can’t remember website name but it will come to me. I do know they came directly from china and it took a month to receive them. They were around $60. I will take a look and let you all know.
