Okay so I am totally planning on doing the I Spy photo game at the reception. While I was originally thinking of doing disposable cameras I’m now rethinking that because of the low light in my venue. I’ve already decided to make cards for guests to an online album to upload their digital photos.. Should I just combine these two ideas and have the I Spy game instructions out along with a plea to upload the photos to my website? Maybe they will still do it and want to see who got the better photos uploaded? What do you think? Everyone I’ve told the I Spy game to really thinks I should do it but now I”m not sure how…

I think that would work. A lot of guests will bring their digital cameras. This is probably how I’ll end up incorporating the game, because, let’s face it, the quality of picture from disposable cameras usually stink. This way, you’ll have easy access to all the ISpy photos, because you’ll also be encouraging them to upload them to your site.
What site did you end up using for guests to upload photos to?

I’m doing this too, and am planning on using Shutterfly. I made an account just for our wedding, and will just include the info with the game. I’m really excited! I think it’s one of the most easy, and fun ideas to include in a reception!

I haven’t decided which site yet. We got some gift cards for Shutterfly in some registry packets and stuff like that so I may use them so we can use our cards. Otherwise I’m thinking Snapfish. It will mostly depend on the cost of ordering prints and upgrade costs.

Just as an FYI, I used iRave for our uploads, and several guests had trouble getting their photos to upload. Guess the beta site still has a few kinks to work out… 🙁
ETA: But yes, I think/agree that an upload spot would be the best way to do your iSpy game photos! You could even print the account info right on the same cards. 🙂
