Hehe you aren’t alone but you’re so bad lol!  It’s hard to stay away from your registry and being curious.

I haven’t really done much with mine, yet…. So I have nothing to stalk. BUT, I was online adding some items the other day and noticed that someone had already bought my silverware!! My wedding isn’t for another 8.5 months!

Some bee’s have said its our responsibility to stalk the registry a little bit to make sure we don’t have to add to it.

Maybe just avoid stalking your registry the week before your shower and week before your wedding! 🙂

Do you open gifts as they come in, or not until the wedding? (Technically, new ettiquette says gifts should be shipped to the bride and groom directly before the wedding, or within 6 months after.)

Well considering just about nobody yet knows where we registered it’s all unpurchased. I keep checking my registry though because I add and delete things. I keep thinking up something else or changing my mind about things. Luckily Fiance doesn’t check the registry because he would notice I took off the nerf gun and slinky he scanned when I wasn’t looking. LOL

I haven’t done a registry yet but I really don’t think I will stalk it. Its like knowing all your christmas presents. Ruins the surprise.

My Bridal Shower invite arrived today and I’m finding it really hard not to check my registry.  I’m sure the temptation will only increase over the next two and a half weeks.  But I really don’t want to ruin the surprise, so I’m really going to try to fight the urge.

It’s ilmportant to register because if people are going to give a gift you want something that will fit your taste and your needs.

If you are into china and crystal, my sister found a great place http://www.bestcrystal.com.  No tax, free delivery, free gift wrap, free card and the prices are undercut from the department store.  You can register here, too.  This site really stretches a dollar!

If you send out STD’s you can put your wedding website on that where people can get information other than your registry.   Also word of mouth, relative to relative.  Your mom tells her sister, and her sister tells the others, or somehting like that.

If you want to be surprised, then don’t open the registry.  It’s like not peeking in the gift closet.  You know it’s there; but you are not going to do it.  If you are a peeker, and an unwrapper being careful not to tear the paper and then rewrap; go ahead look.  But if you have control and want to be surprised, DON’T LOOK.

You won’t know who gave it; so that will remain the surprise.
