I started off using the completely wrong type if wire for the type of words I wanted to make. The first spool of wire I bought was 14 gauge galvanized steel wire. I wanted mine to have little loops, so the first type of wire was too hard. I could see with practice that maybe I could have used this wire, but it was taking too long for my beginner skill. With out the loops, this was the best I could get. I will admit, it was WAY too big and not pretty at all. Not to mention I literally pierced my eyelid with the wire it was so thick and came flying back at my face after I set it down and went to reach for my needle nose pliers! I appologize ahead of time if my images are too big, I am at work and am not sure how to shrink these off of my phone.
So, I went back to michaels and found 12 gauge aluminum wire in the floral section. This wire worked PERFECTLY! It was $3.99 for 5 yards and I used 40% off coupon so I got it even cheaper. It bends very easy. I had to cover my needle nose pliers with masking tape to prevent them from scraping the paint off. With this wire, I only had to use them for the really tight bends. Everything else I did by hand by simply writing out the names the way I wanted them on
paper and then following the lines with the wire.
Sometime this week I want to start putting them onto the wooden hangers. I will have to post the finished product soon! Again, I apologize for the quality and size of these photos. I will be taking better ones later to replace them! π

I can certainly see the difference between wires, you’ve done a great job!
Also, the photos are fine. I think it automatically fixes the size when posting π

iDreamofJune: Thank you! I didn’t crop my legs out or anything and they looked HUGE when I posted it! haha
FutureMrsPrim: Thank you!!! I really enjoyed doing it. I still have a pretty hard time making T’s and I’s I really liked the swirly I’s I made but I didn’t want to risk ruining the rest of the name with the last few letter I’s so I made them plain with out the swirly.

somersetdarling: Thanks so much! Not a stupid question at all! I will be posting how I did that on here tonight. I finished three of the hangers last night aside from any accessories I may put on them. What I did was I drilled small holes into the bottom of the hangers undernieth where the notches are to put clothes on. Then, I made sure that the wires were the correct length and that they were centered. I put this really good glue, I can’t think of the name right now, into the holes then put a little bit on the wires as well and stuck them into the holes. Lay them out flat for a day to dry and they are done! π It was a project my FH could get involved in he drilled the first few holes for me.
