People are so selfish and ridiculous!  It’s like “shut up people, and roll with it!”

How rude of her. Well I guess it’s good for you to start letting her know ahead of time this is your wedding and she needs to roll with the punches.

    Kinda bratty of her though.

My Maid/Matron of Honor freaked out because she was jealous I was riding in the limo.  (I’m the bride 🙂  )  She also bought a dress for herself to wear (said her mom bought it for her- so she couldn’t return it) and didn’t ask me first if it was appropriate.  It wasn’t.  I ended up buying her a dress.  She ended up dropping out of the wedding 2 weeks prior.

@almostarolax: Sometimes I think our friends are always the biggest buttheads. They think they can give us sh!t and say whatever they want/etc. But hopfully most of them will think about your feelings. And Imagine how they want you to act when they are getting married.

I know!!!!  I am so mad!  I always look out for others, but I want to think about myself for once!  Not have to baby my MOH.  I thought my friend was more mature too, but- (?)  I guess not!  People are so selfish, weddings bring out the worst in people, and petty jealousy, apparently.  When I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man, I did anything the bride wanted.  It was miserable, but I did it.  It sounds like your BM is having a jealousy attack, too bad, isn’t it?

I hope she gets better!  Hopefully your friend is getting it out now… (?)  But that could be a miserable year.  I had so much trouble with mine, she was married but had never been in a wedding.  It was miserable.

I don’t think I would talk to much about the wedding with her for a while. You have plenty of time to get things done without her being involved at this point. Maybe in the mean time new attitudes will go on sale and she will get one!

tell her if it’s your wedding and if she doesn’t like the way things are then she can step down.  no one is holding a gun to her head to stay.

to be honest, most people are NEVER as excited about the wedding as the bride. people are selfish and inconsiderate. I picked one girl who would really help out and cared about my day and the other 5 i just accept them for who they are and what they can give to my day. I am sorry that your friends are being dumb! Hope everything really does work out for you! I have saved the hassle of the dress drama by paying for them! They can’t pull the I PAID FOR IT CARD if they didn’t!

Newsflash – no one cares about your wedding besides you. And maybe your mom. Maybe you’ll get lucky and have friends that pretend to care. But come on – whos wedding besides your own have you cared about?
