A lot of times youʻll find boxes in alleys behind restaurants and stores, you can grab them on your way home and start loading his shit up tonight.

sassy411 :  +1. There would ABSOLUTELY be no talking except for how long it’s going to take for him pack his stuff and ghost. Aside from all of the other wonderful things all the other bees mentioned, you do realize taking someone else’s prescription drugs is a crime right? And he’s 27 years old? I work in juvenile detention with 12-17 year olds WHO ENDED UP IN JAIL doing things like your 27 year old bf who is a fully developed adult. This is truly sad bee. You need to leave or make him leave like yesterday!

Oh honey that’s just not on, at all.

Definitely ask him BUT don’t do it from an accusatory POV, make it more “babe last night was weird u came in like a zombie and weren’t really making any sense, is everything ok? what happened last night?”

He’s lucky he woke up. He was unresponsive and snoring loudly and you did nothing? He was snoring because he was obstructing his airway with his tongue because he was not mentally capable of protecting his airway. When you find someone unresponsive, especially if you don’t know what all they took, you call 911 or bring them to the hospital. I am an ICU nurse. I can’t tell you all the times a drug addict comes in and ends up with anoxic brain injury because their friends didn’t call 911 or do anything because “technically they were still breathing.” When a patient shows up to the ER unresponsive they get intubated. If you had called 911 he likely would have spent a night in ICU on a ventilator. A good wake up call to stop abusing drugs.

How do we make this a Public Service Announcement for people to fucking get it through their heads that unresponsive people cannot protect their airways? Sorry but I’m literally sitting here taking care of a woman right now who’s husband waited 18 hrs before calling 911 when his wife was mentally off and not super responsive and here she is with a brain injury from the lack of oxygen and still on the ventilator a week later.

if you’re stupid enough to not dump this guy, next time call 911 when he gets like that again. Jesus, people are so fucking stupid it’s a wonder humankind has survived this long. Sounds like your boyfriend or whatever ended up being okay, but he’s very lucky. It’d be one thing if you knew exactly what he took but Jesus Christ there’s a lot of weird drugs out there and you have no fucking idea how awful it is when brain injured people are kept on ventilators forever because their stupid fucking family member didn’t realize they should have called 911 and now they’re forcing their loved one to be a god damn vegetable because they feel guilty for being a fucking idiot and not seeking medical attention. Sorry for being harsh but there’s your fucking wake up call from the other side, who sees the worst outcomes of drug addiction and the aftermath almost every time I go to work.

My Darling Husband drinks and smokes weed (as do I) but he’d be out the door if he stole my prescription medication for a legitimate mental illness just for funsies. Hell, he’d be out if he left empty beer cans in our bedroom. The ‘talk’ won’t achieve anything except pretend promises to change. I know the type.
