my fi being helpful decided to send me his planned schedule for our wedding day (wedding at hotel we’re staying at so no travelling – 2pm). this is exactly how he wrote it
10.15 – wake up, go straight to breakfast
12 – long shower
12.30 get dressed
12.45-2 hang out with friends and take pre-wedding photos with tequila and snacks
My room is being used as hair and makeup central – both mothers, 4 bridesmaids, and two madrinas (part of catholic ceremony, mexican tradition). hair and styling people said it takes 45 mins-hour per person. and when we’re all ready i want some pre wedding photos with just the women.
so we need to start pretty early and itll be busy. on top of that, wedding planner at hotel wants a meeting with me for last minute detail check (as i planned everything, and cant go with fi as dont want to see him before wedding)
there was something else i had to do but ive now forgotten it. bad sign.
whereas fi is so laid back he has apparently scheduled an hour rest because…he’ll be tired from breakfast?! haha

Haha!!! Ok, this is hilarious! I love that he will go straight to breakfast, even though it appears he will be 15 minutes late…and an hour for rest…oh man. You have a funny one. Men have it so easy 🙂

Eh, are there things you need him doing that aren’t in there? Honestly, Fiance doesn’t have much on his wedding day schedule (and I am the one making it), because there just isn’t a ton for the guys to do. I’m going to encourage him to try to find something to do (go test drive cars or a early movie or who knows what), and I may ask him to go over the venue and make sure our Wii is set up, but other than that… yeah, his schedule looks about the same as your FI’s.

@newname_99: Well, you know breakfast is the craziest part of the day
Men have it easy on the wedding day. They just have to really put on a suit or whatever outfit they are wearing that day and show up.

Haha, Fiance put tequila time on his day-of timeline, too!

lol that sounds about right. They have probably no hair and makeup to worry about it. Guys does have it easy in that respect.

Wedding day schedules are so different for the bride and groom…the groom may have it so easy but we girls get all the fun of being pampered and gettin’ pretty 🙂 And drinking champagne!
And can I say it’s awesome that your Fiance has a scheudle! My husband never would have made one, but I bet if he had it would have been almost this same one!

I asked my Darling Husband for his day of schedule – what a joke! Like PPs said they have nothing to do (hair, makeup, nails) it’s put on tux, brush teeth and if applicable throw gel in hair.
Don’t spend time worrying about it, he knows where and when he has to be for the ceremony and everyone will get him there on time!

@NAvery: its just funny, i think he misinterpreted me…
When i said it was uber important to nail down the timeline for the day i actually meant vendors!! Ie transport to catholic ceremony, arrival time of photographer etc etc. Not his schedule with planned tequila time haha
Im jealous though, wish mine was that laid back

This looks like the perfect plan to me! I’m jealous!

Lol, awesome! My schedule will definitely be more hectic but thankfully I don’t have to meet with any vendors since the venue is taking care of everything (knock on wood). Our schedule will really be just getting ready and taking pictures (and my day will start out a lot earlier than FI’s with hair/makeup).

@newname_99: My husband and I went to breakfast together the day of our wedding then we separated to get ready. I was in total chaos mode and running around like a madwoman getting my hair and makeup done, gathering the girls together, trying to get to the venue on time for the pictures, trying to find new shoes to wear because my heels were so torn up from walking so much (Vegas), etc!
My husband and his groomsmen chilled out all morning, then literally jumped off a building (Stratosphere), then got dressed. Done.

Guys have it so easy! I bet there will be video games happening for mine. While all the girls get prettied up, the guys will take literally 5 minutes to get ready after relaxing all day.

This is too funny and cute. Lol what a relaxing day for him.
