My Fiance is pretty well endowed (not like a horse or anything but decent). Lately when we’ve been having sex, it feels like he is hitting something inside me (which I can only assume is the cervix). It makes a sharp-shooting pain travel to my tummy and without thinking my body will pull away. Has this happened to anybody before? Do I just have a freak vagina? LOL! How do I fix it?

It’s happened to me before when we do doggy. I have a tilted uterus so we have to avoid that position. We still sometimes do it that way, but never to the finish. =) That’s okay, I prefer face-to-face hahahaa.

It happens to me all the time. Usually after it happens I can’t do anything for hours, I’ll have horrible pain in my stomach. He always feels really bad.

@mrsbruff2b: Same here, but it’s not usually bad enough that we can’t keep going but it’s not pleasant for a few seconds.

Yes. :/ It was worse before my surgery – my surgery was for endometriosis removal so it was REALLY painful if he went too far. He used to feel so bad. :/ Now it’s better, but he still has to be careful and we have to avoid certain positions. Like if I’m on top I can’t be sitting up straight, I have to lean forward.

That happens to me sometimes. The cervix changes with your cycle throughout the month. Sometimes, it’s higher or lower. When you get aroused it moves up higher, but at certain times during your cycle it will be more sensitive. Even the slightest touch will make you cringe. I find when that happens, it’s best to change positions. Move into one where he’s not going too deep and for lack of a better term, banging the shit out of it.

It could be your cervix – just the way you are shaped, and he is shaped – try different positions and see if that helps – if it doesn’t, you might have a cyst (this happened to my good friend) – don’t worry, it was totally benign – but if this is a new thing that just started, assuming his penis hasn’t grown (hehehe), you might want to mention it to your gyno.

That happens to me too. Ugh I hate it..feels like scraping/hitting. I will switch up positions because of it

I’ve had the opposite- like a sharp pain that feels like its going through my spine…oh the luxury of dating someone with a huge ______.

Fiance isnt huge (he is not small either… average I guess) and even then I still get a pain from my cervix. I find there are only 2-3 days in the months when I can handle being on top or doing it doggy as my cervix does move up and down/get softer and harder over the duration of the month.
I dont know if I can explain this but I find a good way is on your back with your hips and legs swung right over to the side (but still have your shoulders and back on the bed). He can then kneel and enter you and put one knee along your back and the other along the underside of your thighs. You have to move around a bit to get it just right, but once you are there its pretty comfortable. Not only that but tt feels deep and tight for him, but does not go deep enough to hit the end. WIN!

@Dell79: I feel like I’m being stabbed in my spine too! I try to tolerate it but- ouch! It hurts just thinking about it

@random7890: that happens to me during laying down doggy—its prob your cervix

It’s your cervix lol. Did you know that our vagina is only about 5 inches until you reach the cervix? It’s true!

This happened to me for a few years before I had an ultrasound because the pain was awful. Found out I have a large cyst on each ovary. Not to freak you out or anything!
