Hi bees, My colour scheme is cream, ivory (or white), and pale blue. But the more I look at wedding pics the more I am starting to like pale pink with ivory and cream. Plus I looooove pink peonies. I am meeting with a rental place on friday, is there any way to incorparate some pink into my tables, or should I just stick with my original blue white idea and have the pink in the centerpieces?!
I want to go for this kind of look but with an ivory damask tablecloth (looks like lace and I love it), and maybe a sheer cream colored or light blue overlay. And for the centerpieces I want big bouquets with blue hydrangeas, peonies, white roses and rannuculus.

Personally, I love pink so I may be biased. I am also a sucker for pink peonies 😀
I have cheated on my colorscheme many times before I found my true love (the color scheme I a staying with even if I do see a cute combo somewhere else)
I say if you love the peonies, then do it! Or maybe you could just add small accents of pink or blue into you scheme

Also, I just wanted to add…
The color scheme you have pictured looks very “winter” to me. I noticed that your wedding is in mid july, so pink may be a better color for you anyways!
Hope this helps!

Thanks. definitely helps!! I know what you mean by it looking very winter-like. I am thinking maybe I will stick with more neutral colors and have a couple splashes of pink and blue in the centerpieces, napkins, chair ties, etc. I’m sure the woman at the event store can help me put together a nice look.

I say just add it as an accent color, they will look nice together.

I think it’s actually a really smart idea to incorporate a third color — even as an accent color — just to make the blues pop more against the neutral ivory/cream shades. And you’ll have a lot more choices in terms of flowers if you incorporate pink there! Just make sure that it doesn’t end up looking too much like “baby” shades, and you’ll be fine. Very pretty inspiration pic, too!

I looked at doing pale blue and ivory but thought it looked cold. So you could have pink as a third colour to add some warmth.
