Stunning!!

Buttons would look great too, but I’d try having the dress laced up properly before you make a decision.  It looks like a sloppy lace-up and I’ve actually always seen them starting at the top and ending (with the string tucked or in a bow) at the bottom.  Maybe the dresses I tried on were wrong though?  lol.  I don’t know, but maybe you will like it better that way.

I love it!! I don’t think the corset looks bad but I love the idea of a button down back! I am biased though, my dress is a button down 🙂

Gorgeous! I think adding buttons is a great idea, it’ll look classier IMO.

It’s beautiful!  I do agree with RedWine13 that I would have it laced up properly before you make the decision on buttons.  I think buttons would look great & if you tell the store before you order that it’s what you want, they will be able to order the right size to maek adjustments or may even be able to order it directly from the designer that way.  My only concern for you about switching from the corset is that corsets really shape our bodies well.  I’m actually getting mine altered from a zipper to a corset because I love the fit so much!  So I just don’t want you to be dissapointed in the fit once it gets switched.  You can also have it so the corset is hidden & still gives a similar fit.  Incase that matters for you 😉  Otherwise, it’s gorgeous & I think buttons would look beautiful!

@HollyGuinness:  Beautiful dress!!

But I agee with the other posted about not making a decision about changing the back till you see it laced up properly!! It is supposed to start at the top and end at the bottom with the ends tucked in. It be gorgeous with the corset laced properly!

I find myself wishing those layered skirts were popular when I was looking!  I love that look!

Beautiful!  I would definitely go with the zipper/buttons, I don’t like the look of a corset back.
