I’ve changed my mind so many times about what color scheme I wanted… I had a color in mind (light teal sort of greenish blue), but every bridesmaid dress my girls tried on didn’t come in a teal I liked. And every designer I found that had the color I wanted had no dress styles that looked good on my girls!
So I decided silver/grey dresses. With a pop of color brought out by Blue Dendrobium Orchids (I LOVE those flowers! and I love the colors in them!). Every designer has to have a nice dark grey, right?? Well, apparently not. The bridesmaid dress my girls (and myself!) fell in love with was by a designer who had NO decent dark grey color. BAH! So I changed my vision AGAIN, and decided deep blue dresses to pull out the blue in the orchids would have to work…. It’s not at all what I originally envisioned, but it’s growing on me, and I think I really love it!
So, what do you bees think?? Those bouquets are my dream bouquets, that’s one of my bridesmaids in the dress (when the dress is fitted better it will have a better V-shaped corset), I love the submerged flower centerpieces..
Any suggestions? Think any of it sucks? Better shoe ideas? Additions? Let me know! I’d love any input. 🙂

My sister used these same colors for her wedding last summer and it looked beautiful! Sorry if the picture is huge.

I think it fits well with what you described about your vision and allows you to have your dream bouquets, so go for it!

It’s realy pretty, but I would add in some extra colors. How about purples, greens, and silver? That looks like what you are already going with to an extent, but it will add some depth to the look.

@JrzyGurl:
Thought about adding in greens, actually… there are some greens in the bouquets, and the entire venue is in the woods, and we will be surrounded by greens. So I think we’ll try to bring in silver in the shoes and possibly blingy necklaces 🙂
And I want to try to bring out that lovely light teal color more in the tablecovers and decor!

Hi! I’m a little late to the game, but do you happen to know what the style of your sister’s bridesmaid dresses was? I’m in love!
