That dress is freaking gorgeous!! It looks absolutely amazing on you! And you can’t be overdressed wearing something that good – everyone could be wearing their pyjamas and you still won’t look out of place it’s that beautiful!

Yeah, mine’s pretty much the opposite of what I wanted too – we’re having an outdoor garden wedding, so the “theme” (oh how I hate that word – reminds me of a fancy-dress party) was just going to be a more old-fashioned, high tea sort of ceremony and receptiond. I was planning on a simple lace dress, then I tried on my dress and completely fell in love. It’s a satin dress with coloured panels – very different to what I had planned.

@Sunnybrook:  The fabric glowed like the silk had candlelight sewn right in.  And it twinkles.

Where did the rest of my post go??? Ugh! I was saying that I loved the way you described your dress! And that it’s gorgeous! What other day can you dress up in whatever you want and be completely overdressed?? I think it’s beautiful and will fit in great with your theme!

@Sunnybrook:  I LOVE the neckline of your dress! Why would you like to get it altered?! Maybe a little just to fit you but I think this dress is very elegant and timeless!! I love the figure it gives you and the detail in the middle uuuff! Just perfect(:

Very pretty! I too got a dress I didn’t think I would. I said I wanted a simple A-line with maybe a bit of bling on the hips. I said absolutely NO fit and flares or mermaid and NO lace…I ended up with a fit and flare I’m altering to make a mermaid that’s all lace lol. But I love it.

@Sunnybrook:  LOL, I googled “Jasmine Couture wedding dress V-neck” and it came out in the pictures haha :P… And yeah! I can totally see what you mean about  reducing the sleeves, they certainly look big in the real dress and not that wide in the model pictures, but like you said, that won’t be a problem for a seamstress! And neither the lace up back (which I think it gives you a better shape) 😉

So keep us posted! I’d love to see how it looks after alterations! 😀
