Please excuse my fluffy socks! The weather has turned cold here in the UK lol. I just received the Billion Dollar Baby dress in Ivory from Stop Staring Clothing in the US and I am pretty sure I am in love.
I was after a below the knee dress in ivory for my city hall wedding next year (second marriage for both of us) and was originally looking at 50s style tea length dresses with a full petticoat. However, when I was browsing some stuff about 50s rockabilly weddings on Pinterest with Fiance he pointed out some wiggle style dresses like this offhand and said he would love me in something like that. He is obsessed with hourglass figures and his ultimate woman is Jessica Rabbit lol. He loves it when I wear stuff like this! It was just an offhand comment, but it got me thinking and I had a look online and decided to order this. I was worried about a tight dress looking too “sexy” as I want to look sophisticated and bridal too! I think this might be the right balance, but because it is different to what I originally had in mind I would love a second opinion and some feedback from the bees. Please give me your opinions and don’t hold back as I asked for honesty and won’t be offended by it!

Damn girl, you look amazing.
It’s tight enough to be sexy, but I think it’s long enough to be classy 🙂
What are we thinking for shoes/veil etc? 🙂

Well this dress is slamming on your figure. I think it qualifies as Jessica Rabbit style for sure and you’ve got the bod for it, so i vote YES!
What are you doing with your hair – I think a short fascinator style veil would be awesome with this.

you have got a great figure, but you asked for honesty… the tightness of the dress is making it very wrinkly, which spoils your silhouette. All I can see is the wrinkles. I think you will get the wrinkles around the tops of thighs/waist/tummy area after sitting down for seconds. It seems more of a dress for a nightclub to me, I would personally go for the tea length dress with petticoats as you could be more free, you will be more comfortable after a meal and won’t worry about wrinkles when wearing it. Just my opinion.

You look phenomenal! Make sure you wear the right unders though 🙂 It is def sexy but not over the top because the length is very classy as are the cap sleeves.
