I would wait just because DB is not going anywhere and a year and a half is a long time.  Plus if you don’t buy it and continue looking, you will be either reassured that this is your dress or find something you like better.   It’s a win-win.

Then again I didn’t start dress shopping until 4 months before my wedding so maybe I’m not the best person to listen to!

If you find the dress online at a bargain I would buy it but then STOP LOOKING AT DRESSES lol, I didnt and ended up with 3!!! But I also agree with glittergalore, you could wait a few more months, look around and if you see nothing else you fall in love with then you know this is THE ONE!! From my experience THE ONE changed quite a few times haha! By The Way it is a beautiful dress and you look fab in it, it is so pretty and femenine I love the back x

If this is it and you don’t feel the need to continue shopping, I would go for it. If you think you will be curious and continue looking, I would wait a bit. I would at least wait a month or so until your initial excitement dies down and make sure it is still your dream dress.

I found my dress a year and a half before my wedding. When I found it, I stopped looking at dresses. That’s the trick! I say there’s nothing wrong with it as long as you are confident with your decision. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen my dress,.. and it should be coming in within a month or so, but all I do is imagine myelf in it, and all my doubts go away. By the way, you look absolutely stunning in this dress. I would buy it!

You look great!  And I’m sure that dress is available preowned on the internet.

If you love it, buy it.  David’s is notorious for randomly discontinuing dresses!  And I’m sure that it’s available preowned online, but that dress is going to require some very specific alterations, so if you order online, I’d make sure to get a size up (since most people will alter down rather than up, so if you got your size you’d end up with a smaller dress, probably).

Everytime I see someone post this dress I get so weird about it, haha- I actually bought this dress, then decided I didn’t like it on me and went through all manner of drama getting another dress (my chest is too big for it).  It’s soooo pretty on everyone else, and it just makes me sad it wasn’t that pretty on me.  I love my dress though so it’s all good πŸ™‚
