I love it! Wedding dresses don’t have to be “unique”, they have to show off your natural beauty. Personally I would much prefer a safe dress that felt like “me” over one that would impress people but ultimately distract from the whole picture.

Beautiful! The skirt on that dress is stunning. Wear what makes you feel fantasic because that will show on the day and is what people will notice in the end; the glowing bride!

You look gorgeous!  The bottom is so fun and almost playful while still being elegant.  You look wonderful in it, and you said it yourself – you fell in love with it!  I t hink that’s what matters most, how a dress makes you feel because you deserve to feel beautiful on your special day, and if this dress is the one that does that the most then it’s probably “the one”!  Love it!

hd0430 :  Oh yeah, it is totally normally to feel some hesitation when making a large purchase… and I think particularly when you thought you would wear one style and pictured it that way, and then you end up with something else.

I love your dress. the neckline is very flattering on you. You look beautiful!!

My dress ended up not being what I thought I wanted. But the moment it was on my body, it was mine. It made me feel wonderful, I looked great and it was comfortable.

Wear what you feel beautiful and confident in.

I wouldn’t worry about what you had set in mind before you tried on dresses. If this is the one you loved most when you tried it on then this is it! What you like in pictures and what you truly love on yourself can be two different things. I love the dress and think it looks gorgeous on you!

It looks great on. I think because people make such a thing of the bride’s dress that it’s normal to hesitate a bit but you have no reason to!

I personally don’t like the dress. It’s not you, I wouldn’t like it on anyone. I just think it’s a bit much. That being said, I also don’t like the divina. They, to me, are the exact opposite of timeless and seem a tad 80’s.

So I think what you can take from this is: not everyone’s going to like your dress and that’s okay! You have to wear it and love it. Don’t worry about people’s opinions. People have different styles, you probably would think mine is boring.

hd0430 :  I like the dress above as it looks a million time more comfortable than your other choice. Also, like PP, I really dislike the bottom of the Divina. The dress should be about directing attention to you, not the bottom of the dress.

But, I think the bust area needs to be custom fit to you as this particular one is flattening your bust in a not terribly flattering way.

I personally don’t care for the dress, especially the bottom with the ruffles and I like off shoulder dresses but when it’s pretty solid and structured like that, it reminds me of the 80’s a bit. It’s hard to truly see how a dress fits you pre alterations because at the moment the bust isn’t as flattering as it could be.

With that being said, it doesn’t matter what we think or what your guest think. It’s about how you feel on your wedding day and if this dress makes you feel like the bride you want to be on that day, then that’s truly all that matters. On the plus side, it looks quite comfortable!
