Thank goodness I followed your advice, bees! I went to an appointment today at a Bridal Salon in Fajardo which is about 20 miles outside the “metropolitan area” here in Puerto Rico. What a smart move! The dresses were way better priced than the other Bridal Salons I went to here in the city and they even had designer dresses. I loved the first dress I tried on…
What do you guys think? It has everything I loved about my favorite dresses at the other store but is $400 cheaper!
Also the owner is a wedding planner/florist with RAVE reviews online and offers me everything my current planner/decorator is offering for $3,000 less!!
Sorry for the cel phone pics.. and the dress is a size too big and obviously in need of alterations! I’m such a shorty!
Oops…. forgot to close up the lace on the train for the pic…
Also in need of a petticoat so it can look bigger like here…

The fit is lovely. The alternating mix of lace and tiered ruffles in the skirt throws me off, BUT the important thing is that you feel like a million bucks.
Congrats on the deal.

@peonyinparis: Definitely! I hope my actual wedding planner won’t have a problem with changing the contract to only have her catering service instead of the whole package. Better to change the services than lose a client completely, I would think!
