I would google “lightinthebox horror stories” before you order there! All the photos you liked on the first webpage you found were from older Alfred Angelo collections, you wouldn’t be getting exactly what was in the photos, I’m sorry to say.

I would suggest taking any pictures you like and doing a reverse google image search on them to see if there are any other sites using the same photo. Unfortunately a lot of places steal images.

I don’t know if you have a large population of East Indians in your area but could you possibly find a white dress and have it altered by adding some green, as some of the Traditional East Indian shops have some beautiful fabric that while added to a traditional wedding dress wouldn’t end up looking like it were meant for a Sari. Your probably need a professional seamstress however to do the alterations.  That first dress had that colorful drape on it that looks like it could be figured out by a skilled sewer.

Please read this review before you buy the original dress you posted!!!  I know you’re not getting the reaction you were hoping for, but it would be a shame to lose your money on a dress that you end up unhappy with, plus it wouldn’t leave you with much to get a new dress if you have to!  I wouldn’t risk it…Also, I would be very cautious about reviews on the retailer’s websites.  A lot of them write their own reviews and post them to their own websites, to give them the illusion that they are reputable.  And, these companies also change names frequently (e.g., once they get a bad reputation).  They suddenly go out of business and start operating under a different name.  If you can’t find much info about them, either good or bad, watch out!!

adverb:  I don’t think that one comes with green.  That’s why I posted the last one I did.  I don’t know about having a bustle added where you live, however, I took a wedding dress for my daughter and had it hemmed and bustled at a local drycleaner/seamstress place.  I would take a photo of that to a local place near you, and ask them what they would charge.

adverb:  <br />Good luck and let us know how it goes.  (I don’t know about this particular dress, but I once glanced at a LITB gown in a thrift store, and the fabric seemed nice and thick, not cheap.

Jade might be closer to the emerald colour you’re after rather than forest green?

While those reviews aren’t great, I had no trouble and neither did the other two people I know who’ve ordered from there.
