Wow. I was prepared to agree with your mother and Fiance until I saw the picture. That dress is GOREGOUS and it looks as if it is PERFECT for you!
Regarding your plan to step away for a month or two, just make certain that you keep in touch with the bridal shop in case the dress is discontinued. I had so much trouble finding a dress, and, the moment I found something that I actually liked, I ordered it. I later found out that my dress was discontinued within a few weeks of my having ordered it!

rachelavb: You look beautiful in that dress!
I experienced something very similar. I went out this past Saturday to look at dresses just to get an idea of what I like. Well, I ended up finding THE ONE. I was nervous about finding it my first time looking and at my first store, so I walked away from it and went to a few other bridal stores that day. Nothing I tried on compared but I was still nervous about finding my dress so soon. As we were driving back toward my house, my mom suggested we go back and try on that dress one more time. I am so glad she did, trying it on again after trying on so many others that day solidified how much I was in love with the dress and I bought it that night.
If you are second guessing yourself because of what your mom and Fiance said, try on a few more dresses and then go back and try on this one again. That might help you figure out how you are feeling about the dress. If you love it just as much as before I think you should get it regardless of what anyone else says! You look amazing in it! 🙂

That dress is perfect!!! Go with your gut, no matter how quickly it took you to decide. That dress was made for you!

Well, I continued to shop. And now I have 3 to choose from! While I love dress #1 still, I think that once it’s hemmed, it would make me look much too short. Plus, I’m not crazy about the back anymore.
The picture of dress #2 does not do it justice, but it really is beautiful. If I went with this one, I would wear a thin belt instead of thick.
However, I think I’ve decided on dress #3! It’s the David Tutera “Lita”. I love how absolutely whimsical it is!

rachelavb: Dress 3 is my favorite! I do think the second one is unique and looks great on you though, I don’t think you can go wrong either way. I do like 2 and 3 better than the first one (though it also looks lovely on you). Congrats!

Beautiful Dress!! I still like #1

Dress 1 is a dream on you! It blows the others out of the water.
I don’t know a lot about long dresses, but see if the desinger offers “hem to hollow” option, or shortens the fitted portion based on your height. Just curious, are you wearing heels in the photo and how much would you need to have cut off?
Dress 1 serously looks like it’s made for you. While #3 is pretty, and the skirt is fun, there is something abour the shape and placement of the straps on #1 that looks better on you.

They are all beautiful but I just love the classic, romantic look of dress #1. It also fits you beautifully and is super flattering. But you can’t go wrong with any of these options!

rachelavb: I think all are beautiful and you couldn’t go wrong with any of them. However, #1 is still my favorite! It’s just so flattering and romantic.

While I do not know you personally, that dress looks like it was made for you! It’s absolutley gorgeous but at the end of the day it depends on how you feel. I too found a dress at the first bridal shop I went to, first dress I tried on, yet last dress put in the dressing room. I loved everything about my dress and kept going back to it. With that being said I kept wanting to try it back on and compare it to the others. At that point I was done trying on dresses. Multiple choices only confused me more so I left the store, picked up my sister so that she was there to see it (she wanted to be there earlier but was busy with my nephew and had plans to go dress shopping the following day together), and said Yes to the dress! I erased all my dress pins and am only focusing on my bridesmaid dresses now. I enjoy looking at other bride’s dresses, yet you always feel different in them. As of now, I do not regret getting it early-I actually felt relieved. Hope it works out for you!

rachelavb: Sorry ignore my previous post as I didn’t see you posted an update. All 3 dresses are beautiful but I do like #1 and #2 the best. They show off your figure and have such a classic feel. Again, at the end of the day it matters how you feel the most. Which one are you most comfortable in and can picture yourself dancing, eating, and drinking in for a long period of time.

First of all- how do you look so amazingly well groomed out shopping?!! I think 3 is beautiful and you look pretty in it. I still think dress 1 is really, really special on you. I think it’s because its streamlined elegance perfectly suits your very classy look (hair make-up etc). And of course, it just fits you like a dream, as everyone has said. The way that neckline tapers down is just so gorgeous on you and I do much prefer it to the strapless dress. But you know yourself better than we do and you saw it in real life!! 😉 You’d look lovely in any of these dresses but I just wanted to come and argue the case for dress 1 as I loved it so much last time you posted.

rachelavb: You look great in them all, and maybe it depends on the venue, but my first impression is that the first one is the knockout on you. Classic and elegant but also modern and super flattering. May I ask if that sample is in white or ivory?

I agree that 1 still looks stunning on you but 3 is really nice as well. What is the venue like and how were you planning on doing your hair? Was there any jewelry you wanted to wear? That might help you decide what would be besto for you
