I am pretty sure I have found my wedding shoes. I looked for green wedges in my size (4.5 – 5) last spring and found nada, nothing, zip…
But this year Nine West came through and made these:
They are a little high, but so far they feel comfortable. I am a shorty, and Fiance is 6’5″, so I can use the height. I just hope my feet are not aching too badly halfway through the reception!

@MsBlackberry: You should post a picture of your dress.
To be honest I think you should keep looking. I also think you should go with a non-cork wedge. Or another idea is that you can go for different colored shoes.

@lovin_iswhatigot: I like the cork wedge, and am not worried about people at the wedding judging me over them since my dress is long and will cover them. The dress is a simple, all-over lace, no beading fit and flare. I’m wearing wedges for an outside wedding, which is fairly casual – guys in pants, white shirts, and suspenders. Fiance is just wearing a vest, no suit.
@julies1949: I like the suggestions, but sadly, almost all size 5 shoes are too big for me. Nine West is hit or miss, but somehow this style is smaller than other ones. Also, when wearing heels, I always go for ones that are t-strap or have an ankle strap because I have very narrow heels. I wear a 4.5, sometimes a 4 in certain brands.
If you wear a normal size, you probably don’t realize how impossible it is to find shoes 5 or smaller in womens shoes. I literally have NO options in cute wedges, unless I’m willing to shell out $200-300 or wear bright red. I tried some specialty shops as well, such as Cinderella of Boston. They have 1 green wedge, and it is MUCH cheaper looking and extremely uncomfortable.
