Quit taking tests! You got a BFP, set up you doc appt, they’ll want to see you probably between 6 & 12 weeks along depending on the practice.

Different darknesses if tests can be due to urine concentration it different amounts if dye between individual tests.

Stop testing! Lighter lines may not mean anything as abbyful said.

ETA: I know that is easier said than done!

Unless there is lots of bleeding to be seen, stop worrying and as above, stop taking tests!

Tests vary in terms of dye intensity and so forth even with the same brand! That’s why taking a bunch of tests can be worrisome! that said, I did a test a day for as long as my test stock withstood it, and didn’t let myself worry about the darkness of lines since they were all positive.  I think I did  25 tests in all!

@figgnewton – You won’t hear a heartbeat yet, but you may be able see one if they do an ultrasound. It’s very likely that they won’t do an ultrasound either though, many doctors don’t do an ultrasound until 12 or even 20 weeks.

When I went to the ER for bleeding when I was about 6 weeks along, they didn’t pick up anything on the regular ultrasound, but on the vaginal ultrasound they could see the heartbeat flicker.

@figgnewton:  Okay, you and I must be twins. My first 2 were faint, my 3rd was a shadow. Then my 4th was darker than the faint ones. I was so paranoid.

I’m still paranoid (I’m sure you’ve read what’s going on with me).  Sometimes you don’t have enough HCG in your urine for the line to get darker, but over time it will.

Feel free to add me on FB, I will PM you 🙂

@figgnewton:  Possibly – I saw the heartbeat at 6w5d on an ultrasound and heart it on doppler at 8w. Best of luck!
