So after I bought my dress and had second thoughts and went back and forth about an Eve of Milady and beading and another Lazaro. I have come up with a name for it, and I finally realized that I have “dress commitment phobia.” lol Its what I think guys get with the idea of committing to one girl in marriage. I think I have commitmet issues with wedding dresses. I am madly in love with the guy. Have the perfect ideas for everything else, but the dress…. not so much. Anyone esle feel the same way?

I did. I seriously thought I’d never find the right dress and was annoyed that I would have to spend money on something I didn’t “loooove” the way everyone else seemed to.
When it comes to clothing I always like to have options because I always think…”Well what if I don’t like it by the time it’s my wedding?” For some reason it’s unnerving to only have one choice – even going on vacation I’ll take 2 outfits for every day “just in case”.
Maybe it’s because what you wear effects how you feel and how you feel about yourself. With a wedding dress it’s amplified because it’s not like you can just go pick something else up at the mall the week before if you decide you don’t like it – and you want to feel like you look your absolute best on your wedding day.

Yes. I agree. So much pressure. That is why I envy Indian weddings. They get to wear like 3 outfits for a 3 day affair. 🙂 They are always fabulous.
