So ladies I went to Alfred Angelo today with my mom and a couple friends. The goal was to just “see”what was out there and see what I would look like in a wedding gown.
Turns out, I fell in love!! Everything was perfect, the dress, the veil and the sache. I felt like a bride!
It was the last dress I tried on….I guess it’s true what they say…save the best for last!
Only thing I’m concerned about is…my wedding is a year and a half away…I worry that til then, the dress may be discontinued and I would have lost a gorgeous dress that I loved…Idk what to do…
Should I purchase it or should I wait… By The Way the dress is TOTALLY under budget…my atleast $1200!!!!
Here is a picture of it:

If you are having that kind of worry, then I would go back and buy it.
UNLESS…….you are comfortable ordering a knock off or possibly used….and still keep shoping if it does get discontinued.

Keep shopping! I would look around at least a little bit more. If nothing else compares, go back to the AA. Try some other designers and in a few weeks if you still love that one, go for it. I doubt the dress will be discontinued in the next few weeks (although it doesn’t hurt to double check). That way you will be completely confident in your decision. Good luck!

Beautiful dress! If it’s your perfect dress, buy it.

Thanks girls…Yea i might look around a tad bit more, but the prioce of the dress is truly unbeatable. The dress and veil (gorgeous, gorgeous veil!) all together is still under $1,000. I just can’t believe it!!
And yea i felt like a true bride in it.

The dress is beautiful. Do you feel like your done looking? A year in a half is a long time and if your not done looking, you may get dress regret. I think I would wait till you knew for sure you want this dress.

@Mrs.SFI: Thanks. It truly is a beautiful dress. I don’t think I want to continue looking but then again, a year and a half is a long time I might want to start looking again til the wedding day.
Before I went to AA I went to another bridal place (alone) and tried on a bunch of dresses to see what they had and honestly I didnt find a single one I felt like a bride in.
When I went to AA the next day with my mom and 2 friends it was nicer because I had them to give me their opinion.
But when I tried that one on it just blew me away, I was just in aw of the dress. I also tried on a pettycoat slip underneath the dress so on me it looked more like a trumpet style dress.
I told the consultant at the store that I wasnt going to make a final decision without my dad seeing it first. So we all gotta go back their in a few weeks (he is currently out of the country) so that he can see it, if he says yes, I dont think i’ll be able to NOT purchase it…

It’s beautiful! If you loved it go for it! I wouldn’t risk the chance of it being discontinued.
