i wouldn’t worry too much about that, the seamstress can sew in a stiff backing to help provide structure, or it could be starched which might work better for that fabric, ask them specifically about it. but more than likely you will need some double stick body tape. i had to use it for mine, and that neckline was original. for mine the stiff backing didn’t really help as it still flopped over, it just flopped over more stiffly lol!
since you have extra lace to cover the panels in the bodice, i don’t think you’d even notice them beyond maybe a seam line, but that wouldn’t look bad or take away from the dress.
