Aww congrats C ♡

That is so exciting I can totally relate to how you feel with the going crazy haha I feel like I have already exhausted all my friends and family and I don’t even have a ring yet!

I’m SO happy for you!

But if you don’t know for sure you are even waiting aren’t you just going to put stress on yourself by forcing yourself to keep quiet about something that may or may not happen?

Why not ask your partner where he is at in regards to this? Women tend to read a lot more into engagement stuff than men (just a generalisation). I would want to make sure it’s in the near future before I got overly excited and stressed myself out by not bringing it up.

Very exciting! What makes you think 8-9 months? Have you had a talk or are you a super sleuth and have spotted clues? 🙂

Let it all out here, the Bee never sleeps and there is always someone who has been in the same boat!

Good luck for your engagement. x

my BF bought my ring last friday. I was with him, which I don’t mind because he wanted to make sure it was everything I’ve ever dreamed of. It’s now sitting in one of his family’s huge safes in their basement just calling my name. He won’t allow me to see it, talk about it or take pictures of it until he proposes. I also know that he’ll propose sometime between January 1st and April 30. It is driving me absolutely INSANE!! we know we’re getting married in May and we have almost everything figured out about the wedding and reception. He just wants the proposal part to be a surprise (and i don’t blame him at all.) I can relate, it’s quite frustrating waiting on that ring when you KNOW he has it and he’s just waiting!

CaroAbb :  I have 13 or 14 days to wait.   My SO is wanting me to make plans on how to spend the night he proposes.  So I’m doing that but clearly he will ask when he is ready.

I am so in this pact with you – and I think it makes waiting so much harder when you know it is going to happen soon-ish (within a year).

My SO and I went ring shopping together a few weeks ago, so I am absolutely DYING with impatience because I am so type A. I need to know if he has even bought the ring yet, and I am dying for a proposal before our 4 year in June of next year, but I don’t know anything else. We’ve agreed on next year, but I can’t have any other details because it’s supposed to be a surprise.

Waiting is so hard! You can do it – be patient! (and I’ll take my own advice too – it kills me to stop bringing it up with him since I know it’s close-ish?!). Good luck, bee!

Congrats!!! So exciting! I’m in the same boat, So and I went ring shopping a few months ago we narrowed down one. So I’ve just been waiting which is making me so anxious. I got a feeling he will do it on my birthday which is in Feb. If he doesn’t then its ok because our timeline is until May. Hope your So pop’s the question soon!

That is so exciting. The only thing I know is that it is going to be within the next year. However, we’ve only been together for 1 year and 4 months so I’m not overly sweating it.  It would drive me crazy knowing the ring is bought and just sitting there. Honestly, I would rather not know if that was the situation. I don’t have that type of self control to shut up about it if I know it’s like, right downstairs.
