I think I don’t love it b/c you look so unhappy, but really it looks fine! Maybe too light if anything, but if you don’t like it, get out of the contract! I did 6 trials (all free or free w/ purchase before I found my girl -try makeup counters -I love M.A.C. or even ULTA or Sephora!) Good luck. I got SO many compliments on my makeup -it was dramatic, yet natural -she was a bloody MAGICIAN. Good luck, hon!!

my foundation also looked a bit cakey, but it was because i have dry skin and hadn’t used moisturizer or exfoliant…what happens is the foundation goes on top of little flakes of dry skin. The makeup artist recommended using exfoliating facial cleanser up til the wedding, and moisturizer, esp the morning of.
Maybe you could try doing that yourself to see if it would make a big difference.

i am so sorry that happened to you!! no it should NOT look cakey on your skin, although for big events especially when there will be pictures you do need more foundation than normal as well as makeup on your eyes and cheeks… this is because it will all look way more washed out on film! but it still shouldn’t look thick or cakey. regardless it should still be well blended!
