eek! This sounds really crappy! How are the other vendors? I would say keep calling and emailing. Maybe you can make it in to her place of buisness so you are on a more personal level with her?

If she continues to not respond, I’d contact whomever is in charge of the bridal shows so they know next time this vendor doesn’t hold up the end of their bargain.    I agree about showing up in person because then there’s really no hiding behind lies.  Either she’ll be able to work with you or not.

Sadly, if she flakes there’s really nothing you can do, since it was just a prize!

There isn’t really much you can do at this point, since she is not really responsive to you; however, if I were you, I would contact the bridal show people to let them know what is going on with this particular vendor. It may or may not do any good, but reputable bridal show coordinators don’t want this type of vendor at their shows.

I’m with @M.Ruder… you should contact the folks in charge of the contest and let them know you are having trouble. They made the promise to you so it’s their job to follow up and see that you get what you won, as advertised.

It can turn into a bad idea, but for the moment, why not?  Then you’ll atleast know if she’s giving you the run-around

Ehn, my stationer did the same thing. I was so upset. Because of her, I didn’t do my STD’s because she gave me the runaround for WEEKS. I was so sad when I actually decided to call her from a diffferent phone and SHE PICKED UP. I was so shocked, I didn’t even bawl her out. I did call her cowardly for not letting me know she had flaked out on me though. If someone is not on the ball, I would leave. It would only get worse.

Just to point out the opposite side, you said she got very sick, and you don’t know what that entails. It could have been a flu virus or something much more serious that she is still trying to get under control. Definitely sucks that she’s a little flaky, but I say if you have the time, maybe give her the benefit of the doubt and see if it gets better in a week or so.
