I have fine, curly hair that is a little longer than shoulder length. Every night I go to bed and it is fine. Every morning I wake up with tangles and knots in the hair around the back of the neck area. They are pure hell to get out, even with moisterizing hair salon products. Anyone else have this problem and figure out what to do about it?

What about putting in some spray-in leave in conditioner at night before you go to bed?

I tried the spray leave in conditioner but it didn’t help all that much and did nothing for my complexion. I might try a scrunchie as I usually can’t stand to have a pony tail because it gives me neck muscle spasms. I broke my neck when I was 8 years old and have been plagued with neck muscle spasms ever since, but I’m not complaining because I missed being paralyzed by less than a quarter inch. Glad to know I’m not the only one with ratty hair!

I get rats’ nests in my hair whenever I’m sick– it’s the extra tossing and turning. Maybe you’re having some restless nights?

haha your title is funny…
so, I have this problem when my hair gets overprocessed/dried out (like it is now, haha, from too many times getting highlights) so I got a product called TiGi Wonderful Tonight. You can get it at Toni and Guy salons or for half the cost at ebay. Put it in your hair at night maybe two or three nights a week, and you’ll wake up without a rats nest usually, although you may have to braid it as well to keep the rats nest completely at bay.
