Hi bees! I have been searching for the perfect dress for our Puerto Rico destination wedding. Picture this: a private Spanish Hacienda, lush vegetation, views of the hills, and lanterns all around. The only negative is that it is rather heavy and I may be hot. I really think this dress may be THE dress, but I’m so indecisive! I would like your honest opinions please!
Lace comes up and hangs over the edge just slightly at the top of the bodice (wrinkled in the sample). This sample is also torn at the top of the skirt.
This sample was in much better shape! (Yes, I’ve tried this dress on at 2 different stores…maybe that’s a good sign) Thoughts on the sash?
I might add buttons to the plain zipper. Worth the additional cost?

The skirt does not match the top of the dress, I don’t like it.
The top fits you perfectly though

I love it! I think it’s fun and different and sounds perfect for your venue! And you look awesome in it.

I think the skirt works really well for the setting you describe – it has a very Spanish vibe.

I think the dress looks perfect on you, and the skirt looks like it was made for the wedding/setting you’re describing.

I love the top… but not so much the skirt :/

- Wedding: September 2014 - Lodge
I love it! I love the lace and the ruffled skirt and the sash makes it that much prettier! It looks so good on you, definitely compliments your figure.
I think your vision of your Destination Wedding with this dress is perfect. I also think that if you’ve looked at this dress at 2 different places than its a sign than this is probably your dress.
I can’t stop saying enough good about this dress. I’m in love lol.

I don’t like the skirt, but I guess I can see it working with your venue. You do look good in it!

I think an asymmetric dropped waist with ruffled bottom would work better for you. The way the ruffles start on this dress looks abrupt and awkward to me.

I don’t love it, but if you love it, go for it!

Thank you all so much! (even the negative comment leavers lol) I know the skirt is not for everyone. I really love ruffles though! I have tried on plain tulle skirts, but I’m not sure if they go with the venue.

I’m sorry, but I really dont like it. I think it makes you look really short (or like you have a really long torso and 2 foot long legs.) I usually love ruffled bottoms, but I just dont like the look of this one at all.

One more pic- this time with a veil and a different sash.
