Hi Bees..My mom persuaded me into looking at rception dresses. I ordered an ivory dress and I like it! We started playing around and adding my blush skirt to it and then I really got into the two tone wedding dress look! Now, I’m wondering if I should wear the two tone dress to my ceremony instead of the orignial dress I had planned. Dress A- Blush corset w/ blush tulle skirt and would wear ivory dress to reception OR Dress B- Ivory dress w/ blush tulle skirt on top and take off skirt for reception.
We played around with jewelry and adding a belt just to get a feel. I would also want the underlining fabric of the ivory dress to cover the straps and not only cover the bust. And I am fine with the dress looking like it’s a two piece. I just want to see if yall think the ivory and white would “flow” together. Please vote and tell me your thoughts.
I appreciate it!

coffeelvr45 : I have to say, I think the look of dress 2 with the belt is STUNNING! I think it’s a little more unique and special looking than the first dress.
Ultimately, the reception dress should be the one you are most comforatble in. So, if that makes a difference in your decision…

Love dress #2! Even more gorgeous with the belt.

The top of Dress A looks a little like an undergarmet to me, and seems to be hitting you too low on the chest. It just looks odd.
Dress B is so much more flattering! Just beautiful!

coffeelvr45 : I like the top of A better. It just looks prettier and more expensive.

coffeelvr45 : I prefer sexier wedding dresses so I love Dress A! B just seems too covered up on top to me especially with the big tulle skirt. A looks more balanced and shows off your great collarbone and features!
