@perlerose:  I would want diamonds or something on my wedding band especially if I get white gold bc it tends to yellow. And I think it’s too plain with also a plain solitaire. The reason I asked is bc I would do a really nice eternity band with that solitaire that I could wear on its own sometimes as well and maybe something bigger than I would do with the other rings. Just remember that the ering is written alone for a short time..after that, the rings are written as a set or just the wedding band is worn. Therefore, pick the ring that you like better in a set. That said, I’m going with the halo…it’s not as plain as the solitary, but it looks like it will match a bigger selection of wedding bands. it’s also unique in that usually halos have diamonds on the band as well.

I think the round stone combined with the cushion halo is the ultimate look!

@perlerose:  I have looked at these rings a lot before, because they are beautiful… Sounds like you might want the OEC in the halo… Easy enough.  And if they can make a different undercarriage than that “spidery” thing… Even better..

@perlerose:  I picked the 2nd one.  Usually I like halos but that one in the pic makes the center stone look REALLY green?

@perlerose:  I honestly love all of them! I’m a huge fan of halos (notice the profile pic!) but I prefer the second one! Something about it is captivating, unique and beautiful!

They are all in their own right beautiful rings, you should pick something that reflects you and your SO’s tastes!

Can’t wait to see which one you’ll choose!

@perlerose:  I personally don’t love halos and think the 2nd one is prettier. however, that stone is so big I couldn’t help but think what a shame it would be if the edges got chipped. the halo would protect your center stone from that.

I say, you love the halo, so get the halo!

I’m with your Fiance, I love the third one because it is just such a classic, lovely, engagement ring. I do like the basket of the halo one, it kind of reminds me of a dandelion, but I only like it from the bottom, as I’m not a fan of halos, so there’s that. I opted for 3 over 2 because for whatever reason, I’ve stopped liking pave. I have no idea why though. Yeah, this probably wasn’t helpful at all. ;p

ETA: I like pave on OTHER people, but it always gets really dirty when I wear it, and I never feel like it’s clean. Clearly this is a personal problem.
