so we brought my wedding ring home from the jewelers and i set it in the china Cabinet for safe keeping. i snuck it out to try on again and then another time i took it out to show my sister on skype. both times it was promptly returned into the box and back into hiding. a friend came over one day and i wanted to show her my ring. i went to pull it out of hiding and it wasnt there! i freaked out. i looked all over the living room and dining room and i couldnt find anything! i though someone with sticky fingers (who i catch stealing all the time) had taken it and called Fiance so he could chew them out. i explained i wanted to show a friend and he started cracking up laughing!! i couldnt figure out what was so funny. my ring was totally gone and i was crying. he told me when sticky fingers came over they had spotted the box so Fiance told them the box was empty and i was keeping it as a keepsake and took it and hid it in our room. i still didnt think it was funny but now he wont tell me where in our room its hidden!
he can be a jerk sometimes lol
anyone else have a lost ring scare?

Sounds like you both need to stop allowing “sticky fingers” into your home. Stay friends with them… but just at their home instead!

uhhh… yes… I DID lose my ring once…
I was at work – which happened to be the same place that Fiance works, and he was on shift that night… anyways… he works in a food plant so no jewelry… I like to keep my ring close so I put it in my bra (DONT JUDGE)… I was running some tests and after I finished I cleaned up and reached in to grab my ring and it wasn’t there….
I was super panic-ed… I mean, if someone found it there was NO WAY I was getting it back… c’mon what would you do if you found more than a months salary on the floor? tempting to say the least… thankfully there were not that many people there late at night… but I was hysterical… bawling… a mess… and in front of FI’s co-workers and boss (who of course helped me look)… plus like I said… no jewelry in food plants… So I was in big trouble on top of big trouble…
after like 30 minutes I finally found it… Fiance said we could “get another one”…. psh! yea right… *THIS* is my ring… it is special and cannot just be replaced…
learned my lesson!!!!!!!

@cr6zy:I have never lost my e ring, but I do take it off every time I wash my hands. After Iwash my hands I usually put lotion on my hands and then put my ring back on. Some times I will forget to put it back on because I get side tracked doing something arond the house. Minutes later, I freak out and run to the bath room, where my ring is sitting nicley in my ring holder…
This happens at least 5 times a week!
