I’ve been on the lookout for a seven stone band with 2.5mm stones and all of the prices have been > $1500. Once you get above the really small pave, prices climb fast.

I think it’s also important to differentiate between the width of the ring and the width of the diamonds. With bigger eternity band all the metal is usually kind of under the stone, so the width of the ring is the stone width. In the one you posted, the total ring width is 2mm but it looks like the diamonds are smaller than that. It’s definitely worth it to email that seller and she what a wider ring would cost.

Out of curiosity, can you clarify, because I think the other bees and you might be talking about different things.  Do you mean 2-3mm as in the ring width or 2-3mm diamond or sim stones (which would be big and that’s why they are all saying a ring with 2-3mm stones are $3K and up and you are finding such low prices??).   I’m thinking you mean the ring width is 2-3mm wide with small diamond or other stones to fit?  Maybe not…    Thanks!  (Confused)

Moissy simply are not cut in such small sizes (usually called melee). For small stones, most of the cost is in the cutting. Diamonds are cut, en masse, in india. Labor is cheap and like others said, they use stones that are cut-off or too small for other uses. Moisssy is manufactured and they can’t outsource cutting to the offshore experienced diamond cutters (yet) as there are differences. So, you would pay A LOT more for a moissy band in such tiny sizes.

For a 2 mm ring, the stones are more like 1.8 mm. Retail diamonds (GH/VS) are around $35 each (wholesale likely around $15 each in bulk buys). To make a ring like you want, you are paying for the labor to set the stones more than the stones themselves. It takes a lot of time to cut a seat for each stone and close each prong beautifully.

Another seller that I like is below:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/164798683/micro-pave-diamond-eternity-band-in-18k?ref=shop_home_feat_1 {$295 for a smaller band}

https://www.etsy.com/listing/248401628/15mm-diamond-pave-18k-rose-gold-eternity?ref=shop_home_feat_2 {$695}

I bought my sister the ruby 7-stone graduated ring in rose gold one.

CarolinaJames :

Maybe consider a beautiful classic plain  metal band? Easy to wear every day or resize  if necessary .  In a few years you could  get your  eternity band with stones all around .
