(Closed) I thought my E-Ring was a 1/3 or .33???

I don’t know MUCH about diamonds but carat is a WEIGHT measurment… not the top face of the diamond. Just tell them is 1/3 carat.

A 1/4 carat is usually around 4mm and 1/2 is usually around 5mm.  So yours is probably about a 1/3 if it’s between those.

yes… carat refers to the WEIGHT of the diamond. most diamond sizes fall into a specific diameter measurement range depending on the type of cut.

Maybe this chart would help. Your diamond should be 4-5mm across

@countrygirlsrevenge:  1/3 ct. and .33 are saying the same thing. .33 is carat weight, not mm.  .33 is the number of points the diamond has. Here’s a link. 🙂
