I had my second fitting today after my corset got put in and the dress was taken in a bit. But not being able to see my dress each day has caused me to look at pictures of the dress and of others I tried on. My mother paid for the dress and it would be a very close call to get another dress but I am kind of torn now. I had trouble deciding between two styles before I picked this dress. They are completely different dresses and they both speak to my personality in different ways. I never thought I would get the kind of dress I ended up getting. A tulle ball gown! Please look at the photos below and let me know if you think I made the right choice!
This is dress I bought.

Photos from my fitting today:
Keep in mind that I am not going to be getting a final perfect fit until a few weeks before the wedding so the dress is alittle tight in the back. No way I am having back clevage!!!!!!!
The dress I almost got. It is super cute and fun and has small polka dots on the fabric.

Keep. Your. Dress.
It is SO much more unique. The one you’re thinking of we’ve seen on a lot of brides. While it is beautiful, don’t you want to be in something more memorable?
Your dress looks beautiful on you. Take a deep breath, and look at those awesome pics of you in it! Gorgeous!!

I think only you can say for sure whether or not you purchased the right dress for yourself.
I agree that the second dress is very pretty. However, I would like to see a pic of you from the back in it. I’m not sure if I find it as slimming and as figure flattering at the waist as the gown that you already purchased.

I really like both of them on you. Do you have enough to buy the second one? Maybe you could wear the second one during the reception since it is more fun. Tough call bc they both look good.

The one you bought is AMAZING! You look stunning!

I like the first one a lot better! Much more unique.

Hang on to the first one! It seems much more your style!

Oh wow your first dress is so special and different!! Please don’t change it, you look fabulous in the first one and I haven’t seen anything else like it.

@OtterHalf: I was thinking of maybe doing that for the reception, but I don’t think I could afford to. It is super light weight, it would be perfect for a reception dress!

I think the dress that you purchased gives you a much better shape.

Love the dress that you already bought! You definitely made the right decision.

i must be the only one who thinks the 2nd one looks better on you …

The first one makes your skin come out in a fold type thing up at the top at the back, giving us the impression that it doesn’t fit you properly. The ribbon at the back just doesn’t flatter you at all and I am sorry but I much prefer dress 2.
Dress 1 is unique, but that doesn’t always make it a winner.

I like dress 2 better as well. I think it is much more flattering!
